Stockholm, April 11, 2016: Tilgin, a leading provider of Home Gateway solutions for multiplay and broadband access, has recently received a new order for delivery of Home Gateways from Swedish service provider Bahnhof. Bahnhof will deploy Tilgin’s gateway solution to provide high speed fiber routing and wireless access in combination with full triple play functionality.

As an independent operator, Bahnhof offers high speed broadband services over fiber for both business and residential customers in Sweden and due to the increase in demand is investing in its broadband deployment for voice, internet and video services.

“Our aim is always to provide our customers with most flexible and future-proof products available today” said Jon Karlung, the CEO of Bahnhof. ”With Tilgin’s Gateway solution we can easily upgrade our service offering at any-time without replacing the hardware infrastructure. The solution not only helps us minimize our ongoing operational costs, it will increase our customer’s experience with both higher speeds and better service.”

The order from Bahnfof includes the Tilgin’s home gateway HG2380 as well as its gateway software, HGA. The new home gateway solution has been specifically designed to meet the increasing need of multiple Wi-Fi connections in the home. The gateway will be rolled out this year and will provide Bahnhof’s customers full gigabit routing.

“We are delighted that Bahnhof has ordered our new gateway solution” said Jonny Wetterborn, CEO at Tilgin. “This order is another demonstration that Tilgin’s design capabilities can meet the challenges of growing demand for high speed access. With Tilgin it is possible to ensure high quality Wi-Fi connectivity for the ever increasing number of smartphones, tablets and devices in the home. We are pleased that Bahnhof has selected Tilgin and we are looking forward to an ongoing and successful collaboration in the years to come.”

The HG2380 home gateway solution from Tilgin has been designed to include the latest WLAN technology and is configured with a 802.11ac compliant WLAN radio. It also supports routing for both 2,4 GHz and 5GHz radio, offering a state of the art Wi-Fi solution.
