Bredbånd Nord continue its fiber rollout with Tilgin Flexible Premises

Stockholm, Sweden, March 14, 2016: Tilgin, a leading provider of solutions for multiplay and broadband access has signed a new frame agreement with Bredbånd Nord, Denmark for the continued rollout throughout 2016 of its flexible premises solution.

Bredbånd Nord, who is part of the fiber broadband group Waoo which consist of nine Danish energy companies, offering advanced triple play and CaTV services over fiber, once again confirms the value of Tilgin Flexible Premises Solution, delivered to FTTH operators.

The frame agreement includes Tilgin´s smart Fiber Termination Unit, MSA972 and the HG2381 Home Gateway. The fiber termination unit contains among other features an RF overlay functionality for both P2P and GPON. The Home Gateway is powered by HGA570 Tilgin´s gateway software and is also equipped with the latest 802.11ac Wi-Fi standard, enabling the usage of both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands.
All units delivered are intended to be managed via Tilgin’s already implemented Management Platform – tGem.
