i3 wins pulver100 award for fourth consecutive year.

Stockholm, Sweden — Sept. 7, 2004 — i3 micro technology (i3), a leading provider of Voice-over-IP (VoIP) and IP-TV products and solutions, has been named to the pulver100 list of top companies to watch in 2006. The annual pulver100 award identifies the top privately held growth companies in the worldwide communications sector. This is the fourth consecutive year i3 has appeared on the pulver100 list. i3 and the other winners will be honored during the opening reception at the Fall VON tradeshow held Sept.19 through 22 in Boston where i3 will be exhibiting in VON booth # 636.

The pulver100 list was introduced in 2002 by pulver.com and includes private companies that have substantial real-world telecommunications deployments and enjoy significant growth rates. According to Jeff Pulver, Founder and Chairman of pulvermedia, the list includes the companies that represent the future of the communications ecosystem. “The value chain characterized by the companies on the pulver100 list differs substantially from the vertically integrated telecom model of the last century,” said Pulver. “The companies prospering in the new environment have followed the computer and networking industry model with open interfaces, connectivity decoupled from services, and software decoupled from hardware.”

“We’re pleased to be recognized once again on the pulver100 list as a leader in furthering innovation,” said Jan Werne, chief executive officer of i3. “The pulver100 award validates i3’s efforts to provide our customers with scalable and future-ready products and solutions for VoIP and IP-TV within an integrated platform for advanced Triple Play services.”
