Stockholm, Sweden, October 14, 2016: Tilgin, a leading provider of gateway software for broadband access & beyond is proud to present its new software platform, Open HGA, at the Broadband World Forum in London, 18-20th October (stand C90).

Open HGA is an open platform for IoT and smart home devices and services.
The platform transforms a home gateway into a smart home hub from which you can connect and manage IoT and smart home devices and services.

Open HGA software offers a modular approach catering for third party service applications and come as a scalable build structure including a development kit, Tilgin Connect.
Open HGA has an open API to facilitate the integration of IoT applications and for control of built-in modules such as proprietary or third-party application services.
The platform has an extensive set of predefined functions and services for fast time to market

Tilgin’s new platform is aimed for partners and clients such as system integrators, ODM/OEMs or operators that value the ease and flexibility to integrate, operate and control applications and services from one common platform – Open HGA.

“For quite some time we have seen a demand for a common software platform not only addressing the generic gateway functionality, but a solution that in addition can “handle” all new IoT functions and services in a smart and efficient way. By providing Tilgin’s Open HGA structure, to meet that demand and challenge, we will help our clients enable the IoT- and Smart Home environment in an efficient and secure way", says Michael Gustavsson, VP Products & Services at Tilgin.
