STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN, March 26, 2007 – Tilgin, a leading provider of customer premises equipment for triple play and IMS solutions and Communications Supply Service Association (CSSA) today announced 5 active Mood 300 set-top box local deployments, of which one is for a larger US-based IOC. These 5 new deals are based on the agreement from February 2007 under which CSSA will market, stock and sell the Tilgin Mood Series set-top box products in the U.S. market.

CSSA is a strategic alliance of independent telephone companies (IOC) located throughout the U.S. Formed in 1976, CSSA has grown to serve companies in 44 states including over 200 member. As a leading industry supplier, CSSA helps members enhance revenue streams by ensuring access to a best-in-class portfolio of products, services and training programs. CSSA is a major provider of enterprise and residential customer premise equipment (CPE) solutions to their IOC members and affiliates. Tilgin is an addition to the growing IPTV CPE portfolio offered by CSSA.

“Many of our members have been in a holding pattern waiting on this technology for quite some time,” said Scott Davison, Vice President of Strategic Product Development for CSSA. “Solving the problem of MPEG-4 set-top box availability has been a big hurdle for many providers. We believe Tilgin has overcome this hurdle and is prepared to help us deploy now."

“Signing up CSSA was a step in strengthening our presence in North America. To be able to succeed in this market is all about getting access to the right customer base through the right channels which makes CSSA a perfect partner for Tilgin”, adds Jan Werne, CEO of Tilgin. ”With these 5 local IPTV deployments, of which one is with a larger US IOC, we make a cautious note of optimism that our new US strategy works and starts paying off. CSSA’s strength within the IOC segment is an added value to Tilgin”.

“IPTV is what service providers and subscribers want. Many service providers have made significant investments in order to deliver IP-based multimedia services, but have had to wait on the customer premise equipment in order to begin actual deployment. By adding the Tilgin product line to our portfolio, many of our members can finally begin to deploy and realize a return on their investment. Their subscribers finally get the advanced services they want. In most of our rural deployments this is one of the final steps towards the availability of IP-television." Davison concluded.
