Stockholm, Sweden, October 07, 2013: Tilgin, a leading provider of solutions for multi-play and next-generation broadband access, and Media5 Corporation, a provider of innovative VoIP communication solutions for Enterprises and Service Providers, are ready to roll-out TR-069 VoIP solutions to new business customers.

Tilgin and Media5 have recently completed interoperability testing on their respective ACS, tGem and Mediatrix VoIP gateways, and are ready to address the Enterprise and Service Provider markets interested in rolling out fully-managed business VoIP solutions.

Mr. Eric Hjelmestam, VP Solutions management at Tilgin said: “We are delighted to collaborate with Media5 and show the energy and the attractiveness of TR-069-based solutions for all players.”

“Tilgin again expands its ecosystem with a broad range of enterprise designed VoIP adaptors and multi-service devices combining VoIP IAD, Gateway, IP Router, NAT/Firewall and QoS control.”, said Mr. Hjelmestam. “All of these devices can now benefit from our next-generation remote management solution, tGem, which allows service providers to deliver a rich service portfolio to their subscribers with high levels of customer satisfaction.”

Mr. Andres Torres, Product Manager for Media5 Corporation, commented: “The addition of TR-069 support in our devices answers a real need from operators and businesses around the world. There is a strong demand for fully managed solutions like tGem, which are designed to allow operators to easily monitor and troubleshoot services. Monitoring is especially important for the high quality of service our customers expect from our products.”

Tilgin’s ACS tGem, is a comprehensive remote management platform for the management of all types of CPEs compliant with the Broadband Forum’s TR-069 standard, such asIPTV-STBs, Home Gateways and VoIP ATAs.tGem addresses the full life-cycle of CPE devices in a multi-vendor context: from initial activation to service upgrade, from proactive maintenance procedures to subscriber care. Delivering managed services based on remotely-managed devices is an essential part of all successful service providers’ business strategy. This approach keeps the operational cost low for their offerings while at the same time increasing the base of new revenues in a timely manner. The other essential key to success is to maintain consistently high customer satisfaction while reducing churn.
