According to the leading business magazine Veckans Affärer’s yearly ranking of IT-companies, Tilgin is Sweden’s fastest growing IT company. Tilgin grew by more than 300 percent in 2005, showing a turnover of 208 MSEK. Advanced technology, cost efficient solutions and a rapidly expanding market are all contributing factors.

Tilgin, as well as the market in general, is growing very rapidly. This began towards the end of 2004, and has since then only accelerated. Revenue growth for Q1 2006, compared with the same period last year, was 402 percent.

Tilgin has increased its sales to existing customers such as Belgacom (via Siemens) and to subsidiaries of Tele2, as well as to new customers in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Croatia, Greece, Poland, Slovenia, Middle East and the USA.

”We are succeeding to compete on a very fast-growing and competitive market by successfully meeting operator requirements,” says Jan Werne, CEO of Tilgin.

Over the first three months of this year, Tilgin has delivered approximately 75 000 units of customer premises equipment. Product deliveries were split evenly between set-top boxes used for IP-TV and residential gateways used for broadband access and IP telephony.

Tilgin is well positioned for further growth on a continually expanding market for advanced Triple Play services (Voice over IP, IP-TV and high-speed Internet access).

”The fact that so many operators choose Tilgin as their supplier for CPE products confirms our strategy to focus on CPE for Triple Play. There is enormous potential and interest in next generation broadband services for converging voice, video and data,” says Jan Werne.

Tilgin is planning to list the company on the Stockholm Stock Exchange in 2006. The main reason for the listing is to secure financing for continued development of products and services, as well as further international expansion. Listing the company will also result in increased attention from customers, suppliers and investors, which in turn is expected to create increased awareness for the company.

Tilgin recently changed name from i3 micro technology in order to increase brand awareness and to more easily facilitate international expansion.
