Tim Hortons®, the iconic Canadian coffee chain, has announced a free small drink offer at their Connswater Drive Thru restaurant from 11pm on 14 October, until 7am on 21 October.

All customers are being welcomed to take part in the offer that lasts for seven nights in October and available through the Drive Thru only, aimed at supporting early birds and night owls from across the city.

Any small drink, excluding bottled drinks, will be included in the offer. From Canada’s Favourite French Vanilla, the creamy and cosy warmer, to the zingy Frozen Lemonade, and sweet tooth’s choice, the Maple Hot Chocolate, will be free for the promotional period.

NHS, emergency services, and late-night workers are especially encouraged to treat themselves to a complimentary cup of coffee to help them get through to morning.

Kevin Hydes, Chief Commercial Officer of Tim Hortons® U.K. & Ireland said: “We’ve been humbled by the great welcome by the community in and around our Connswater restaurant and feel it’s time we gave back with this free drink offer. As this was our very first 24-hour Drive Thru restaurant, it seems fitting to offer something which celebrates its success.”

The Tim Hortons®  brand was founded by its namesake, a top professional ice hockey player, who wanted to create a space where everyone would feel at home. Fast forward to 2019, more than 5.3 million Canadians – approximately 15 per cent of the population – visit the cafés daily.

In 2017, the iconic Canadian brand made its way to the United Kingdom, bringing premium coffee, freshly baked goods, delicious sandwiches & wraps, and other food products to Brits. The first restaurant opened on Argyle Street, Glasgow, in June 2017.
