New Burger Range and Hot Dog at Tim Hortons®
Tim Hortons®, the iconic Canadian coffee chain, has announced a brand-new range of beef burgers, a hot dog and lattice fries, available nationwide from 12 October.
The launch comes as part of their evening launch where guests can continue to enjoy their favourite Tim Hortons food and drink options as a night time meal after 5pm.
The Tims® Signature Burger will be everyone's new favourite lunch and dinner option. Freshly made to order, it includes a brioche bun with a beef burger, streaky bacon, shredded iceberg lettuce, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, red onions, and maple & chorizo ketchup. For those looking for something even more hearty, enter the Tims® Bacon Double Burger, the beast of all burgers.
Their new range includes the Tims® Classic Burger, filled with shredded iceberg lettuce, cheese, beef burger and burger sauce inside a lightly toasted brioche bun. Guests can also add an extra beef burger to make it a Tims® Double Classic Burger.
As well as their new burger range, they will also be launching an American style hot dog, a turkey frankfurter inside a soft bun, topped with maple & chorizo ketchup, yellow mustard and crispy onions.
As with all their savoury food, the new range is all fresh and made-to-order using quality ingredients, whilst the burgers are all made with 100% British and Irish beef.
Guests can enjoy the range on its own or as a main item with a portion of lattice fries, a dipping sauce of their choice, and a small hot or cold drink* via the drive thru, takeaway, restaurant dine in, or delivered straight to their homes. The full menu can be viewed here.
Kevin Hydes, Chief Commercial Officer at Tim Hortons® U.K. & Ireland said: " We are thrilled to be introducing these tasty new products to our menu. We already have a fantastic lunch and evening meal offering, including sandwiches, melts, wraps and Tims® Crispy Chicken Tenders which are very popular amongst fans, so we’re really excited to introduce them to our first ever range of burgers and hot dog. Our delicious savoury options really do allow us to offer something for everyone throughout the day and evening”.
The Tim Hortons® brand was founded in 1964 by its namesake, a top professional ice hockey player, who wanted to create a space where everyone would feel at home. Fast forward to 2019 and nearly eight out of 10 cups** of coffee sold across Canada are served at Tim Hortons® restaurants and more than 5.3 million Canadians – approximately 15 percent of the population – visit the café daily.
As well as the famous range of savoury food and drinks available through the meals, donuts, Timbits® and sweet pancakes are also available for dessert to complete the perfect meal out.
