EVUTEC DEBUTS KARBON SI SERIES SHOCKPROOF INNOVATIVE CASE – A NEW SLEEK PRODUCT FOR SAMSUNG GS5

Walnut, Calif., September 22nd, 2014  – Evutec Corporation announced the launch of a new product line: The Karbon SI (sleek impact) Series, one of the thinnest, shock-proof cases is now available in the market. The sleek impact case is made for the Samsung GS5 and is made from DuPont™ Kevlar® fused with a Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) inner layer for extra impact protection.

“The 0.7mm outer DuPont™ Kevlar® shell is fused with a 1mm shock proof TPU inner layer for a combined total of 1.7mm of material, creating a thin, strong, lightweight protective case. The Kevlar outer shell is five times stronger than steel at a same weight bias,” said Vice President of Sales Edward Kayden.  “It will not block your GPS, Wi-Fi or cellular signals,” he added.

“The Karbon SI Series is the next level of evolution,” said Kayden.  “Our current iPhone 5/5s SP series case is 2 pieces, totaling 2mm thin.  Now we have combined the TPU and the Kevlar to make it one piece case at 1.7mm thin!”

With an added 5-layer Evutouch™ coating applied, the Karbon SI Series is not only strong but also scratch resistant. The Karbon SI Series retails for $54.99 and comes in Osprey (black and grey) and Kozane (red and black).

“We realize there are many protective cases on the market today.  One of the main concerns our customers had was that most protective cases add bulk. We found a solution to the issue by manufacturing a product that is much thinner than others, with tremendous strength and durability,” said Kayden.

The Karbon SI Series for the Samsung GS5 joins the lineup of the already successful Karbon S Series case for the same phone, which was launched earlier this year. Based on the same materials such as DuPont™ Kevlar®, Evutec stays focused on the concept of high style design and protection.
