Evutec launches Kevlar® constructed Karbon S Shell Case for iPad air and iPad mini with Retina display
The Evutec ultra-light, ultra-tough iPad cases use DuPont™ Kevlar® to protect from bumps and scratches
Walnut, Calif., July 17th, 2014 – Evutec today announces the availability of its ultra-light, ultra-tough Kevlar shell cases for the newest iPad models. The Karbon S (Sleek) is now available for the iPad air, and iPad mini with Retina display. It features state-of-the-art high-performing DuPont™ Kevlar® fibres, which offers unrivalled strength to weight properties and maximum protection.
The woven Kevlar® layers give the cases amazing durability and strength, five times that of steel of the same weight. This enables the design to be ultra-thin, a mere 0.7mm, adding only negligible weight to the device. Its tight fitting design means users will barely know there is a case on the iPad.
In addition to the DuPont Kevlar fibres, the cases feature evutouch™, a five-layer process that creates a scratch-resistant, soft-touch finish that is easy to grip. The combination of woven Kevlar fibres and the evutouch™ finish give the cases an unbeatable strength to weight ratio.
The Karbon S design doesn’t obstruct the magnetic side of the iPads. This allows front covers, such as the Apple Smart cover, to work with the Karbon S shell to protect the screen.
The cases contain no metal or other materials that have the potential to block Wi-Fi, GPS or 3/4G signals. So users can be sure to get the best connection, without fear of interference.
Availability
Evutec cases are available exclusively at the Apple Store, both online and on the high street. The Evutec Karbon S (Sleek) Series Shell Case for iPad air is £69.95, and the Evutec Karbon S Shell Case for iPad mini with Retina is £59.95. Prices are inclusive of VAT.
