View the skylines of Europe as never before in the new video for the network of Europe Direct Information Centres (EDIC), featuring impressive graphic effects, skilled camera work and thrilling acrobatic stunts.

‘The Quest’ video, which aims to promote EDIC services among European citizens, sees a fearless Belgian stuntman literally jump from rooftop to rooftop towards his destination – Europe. He is assisted in his daring journey by graphic effects representing the EDIC network and, after three soaring jumps; he is rewarded with an animated panorama of the skylines of Europe.

The action was captured in Brussels by the multimedia department of Tipik Communication Agency using a Phantom camera, which enabled highly detailed slow-motion recording, and a Red camera on Steadycam. Apart from the impressive animation and camera work, the video also displays a (safely shot) sequence of 'parkour' stunts an extreme sport involving rooftop running, vaulting, rolling, climbing and jumping.

It is hoped that the video will encourage European citizens to make use of their local Europe Direct Information Centre, present in every EU country, to find answers to questions on EU rights, funding, and more.
