Tipik video finalist in green awards

Tipik’s smart and polished video on the Internet of Things (IOT) was among the finalists at the Deauville Green Awards 2013, a top international festival of corporate film and TV programs on ecology and sustainable development.

Our IOT production, which impressed judges in the category of ‘Post-industrial systems and innovations’, was one of more than 160 films competing before an audience of 150 industry leaders. Directed by Dave Van den Heuvel, the video was a collaboration between Tipik and partners KAOS Films for the European Commission’s Information Society and Media DG (now DG CONNECT) to show how the Internet of Things would allow us to manage our world in a whole new way, adding a new dimension to the Internet as we know it. From transport to health, and from energy to everyday chores, the video demonstrates how the Internet of Things can offer infinite applications that can improve our lives.
