(CARPINTERIA, CA) – October 4, 2011 – The Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club Centennial Polo Season is coming to an end on Sunday, October 16th. The 2011 season has been one to remember, marked by unprecedented events, from hosting Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton to special guest performances celebrating 100 years of service to the Polo community. With only two weekend matches left, the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club appears to be saving the best for last as they are thrilled to be hosting the man who embodies all things Polo, renowned Argentinean Polo player, Nacho Figueras, at5PM this Friday, October 7th.
The Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club is hosting a BBQ/Barn Party, providing everyone with the “Quintessential Polo Experience” and a chance to meet the face of Polo himself, Nacho Figueras, who will also be appearing in the Second Annual Vueve Clicquot Polo Classic on Sunday, October 9th. Besides being one of the best polo players in the world, Nacho is also the face and physique of Ralph Lauren’s Polo Fragrances. Passionate about the sport and his country, he is ecstatic to use his ever-increasing popularity to showcase Polo at the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club Exhibition this Friday in celebration of their Centennial Polo Season.
