Tobii Studio 3.1 Release Broadens Support for External Physiological Data

Stockholm & Washington, June 28, 2012 — Tobii Technology, the global leader in eye tracking and gaze interaction, has released the latest version of Tobii Studio, supporting the recent integration of StimTracker for Tobii TX300 Eye Tracker for combined analysis of eye-tracking data and data from external monitoring devices, including those used in psychophysiological studies.

The most recent version of Tobii Studio includes the following new features:

  • Light sensor trigger – supports external analog sensors for detecting stimuli changes, enabling data synchronization free from timing errors that might appear due to delays in operating systems, graphics cards or flexible pixel refresh algorithms.
  • External event registration – marks binary trigger events in the data coming from the Tobii TX300 Eye Tracker for synchronization of screen stimuli, eye-tracking data and data from various external monitoring devices, including EEG, heart rate, motion detection, NIRS, respiration rate, skin conductance, light and sound.
  • Tobii Glasses data – expansion of data sets available for export from glasses recordings.
  • Excel export – enhanced exportation of eye-tracking data into Excel format.
