Tokmanni celebrates its refurbished store in Tammisto in Vantaa – The Tammisto store now offers the widest selection of home renovation and automotive products among Tokmanni stores

The Tokmanni store in Tammisto in Vantaa has significantly expanded its selections to include a much wider range of products related to home renovation and automotive, such as power tools.
Tokmanni, a variety discount retail chain, will celebrate the reopening of its refurbished store in Tammisto in Vantaa on Thursday 4 June 2026 from 8 am onwards. The opening celebrations mark the refurbishments that have significantly expanded the store’s offering of home renovation and automotive products. In addition, the shelf space for these products has doubled. The store opening, which will be celebrated together with customers, will feature plenty of special offers as well as surprise buckets filled with product gifts. In addition, sausages will be served starting from 10 am.
Customers at the Tokmanni store in Tammisto in Vantaa can now shop from the widest selection of renovation, construction, and automotive products among Tokmanni stores in Finland.
Among the more than 2,000 new products, there are many products that are not available in any other Tokmanni store, emphasises Markus Alitalo, Group Category Manager, DIY and car accessories at Tokmanni.
“We are offering several hundred new items for a wide range of DIY projects. Our product ranges have grown the most in numerous brands of power tools, HVAC supplies, as well as in painting and lighting categories,” he says.
“The product selection of screws, bolts, and nuts suitable for various fixing needs and sold by weight, has also expanded significantly. Our broadened product offering serves customers interested in renovation, construction, and automotive needs much better than before.”
To better showcase the expanded product offering, the sales area for renovation, construction, and automotive products has been doubled. In addition, the shopping experience has been made easier by, for example, renewing the shelf layout and the display of products and product categories.
The expanded product range makes the Tammisto store an even more versatile shopping destination. The store has already offered a very comprehensive selection of products related to, for example, interior decoration, clothing, detergents and cleaning, home improvement, various seasons, and beaty, health and wellbeing. In addition, the Tammisto store will continue to feature shop-in-shop departments from the Click Shoes shoe chain and the lifestyle brand Miny, both part of Tokmanni Group.
Customer service at the Tammisto store is provided by a team of around 30 retail professionals led by Store Manager Jani Kolari. The store is open on weekdays from 8 am to 9 pm, on Saturdays from 8 am to 8 pm and on Sundays from 10 am to 7 pm. The store is located at the address Nilsaksentie 2, 01510 Vantaa.

Opening offers and surprise buckets with product gifts in true Tokmanni style
Tokmanni always celebrates the openings of its new stores with generous opening offers. In Tammisto, the opening offers will be valid from Thursday 4 June to Sunday 7 June 2026. In addition, five hundred famous Tokmanni’s surprise buckets filled with product gifts will be handed out for free to the first customers on the day of the opening on Thursday 4 June. Two of the surprise buckets will also contain an EUR 50 gift card. In addition, on the opening Thursday, starting at 10 a.m., the store will offer free sausages to the first 500 customers.

In Denmark, the next store opening is planned to be celebrated in Haderslev next autumn.
