Tokmanni Group’s Click Shoes shoe store chain to open a new store in Tampere and relocate its store premises in Lahti

At the moment, Click Shoes’ customers are particularly interested in various footwear models that are suitable for cold winter weather, such as suede ankle boots from 2Moons and studded and friction shoes from several footwear brands.
The Click Shoes shoe store chain, which joined Tokmanni Group last year, has entered into agreements on the opening of a Click Shoes store next to the Central Square in Tampere as well as its store relocation in the Trio shopping centre in Lahti. After opening celebrations in Tampere, the store network of Finland’s largest shoe store chain will grow to a record size.
Click Shoes is expanding its store network in Tampere to four stores, when a new, approximately 250 square metre shoe store opens its doors next to the Central Square around the end of February. Tampere, a city of more than 250,000 inhabitants, already has Click Shoes stores on Hämeenkatu, in the Koskikeskus shopping centre, and in Lielahti. The new Tampere store will be located at the address Aleksis Kiven katu 18, 33210 Tampere and employ an estimated three to four retail professionals.
In Lahti, a city of around 120,000 inhabitants, it is a matter of relocating the store. The current Click Shoes store, which was opened last year on the second floor of the Trio shopping centre in Lahti city centre, is moving to better-located store premises on the streel level. The current store will serve its customers until mid-January next year, and the new store will open its doors about a month later. The new store will have around 250 square metres of space. Click Shoes will continue to have two shoe stores in Lahti, as the shoe store chain expanded its store network to Karisma shopping centre in April of this year.
“We are very happy to continue opening new Click Shoes stores in good retail locations. In the Trio shopping centre in the heart of Lahti, the store will be relocated premise that are better than our current one in terms of customer flow,” says Hanna Ahola, Managing Director at Click Shoes.
“Also in Tampere, our store is expanding to an interesting location in terms of customer flow in the city centre, in the immediate vicinity of Central Square and next to a Tokmanni store,” she adds.
In both cities, the new Click Shoes store will be opened in store premises left vacant by Miny, a lifestyle brand of Tokmanni Group. In Lahti, the store dedicated to Miny will close its doors at the end of December. In Tampere, the Miny store will serve its customers until the end of January.
From now on, Tokmanni Group will continue to develop Miny as part of Tokmanni stores and online store. The lifestyle brand currently has a shop-in-shop department in more than 40 Tokmanni stores across Finland.
Comprehensive assortment of footwear and professional service

The Click Shoes stores sell footwear from many international brands, including Skechers, Rieker, Musse&Cloud, Bugatti, Tamaris and Converse. The stores also have a wide range of products from 2Moons, a private label created by Click Shoes, as well as shoe care and maintenance products from Springyard.

Already more than 30 shoe stores ready to help customers in Finland

Click Shoes shoe store chain, which is part of Tokmanni Group, has opened five new shoe stores in Finland during 2024. In April, the openings of new Click Shoes stores were celebrated in the Koskikeskus shopping centre in Tampere, the Karisma shopping centre in Lahti and the Veturi shopping centre in Kouvola. In September, the openings of new Click Shoes stores were celebrated in the Forum Jyväskylä shopping centre in Jyväskylä and the IsoKristiina shopping centre in Lappeenranta. In early 2024, Click Shoes closed its outlet store in Ylöjärvi due to the expiration of the lease. In addition, Shoe House shoe store chain, which is operated by Click Shoes, moved to new store premises in the Jumbo shopping centre in Vantaa in August of this year.
The store network of Click Shoes is already bigger than ever. When the new store next to the Central Square opens its door in Tampere, customers will be able to do their shopping in as many as 34 Click Shoes stores and two Shoe House stores. Footwear can also be bought from the Click Shoes’ online store. Selected Click Shoes’ products are also available in Tokmanni’s online store and in more than 140 Tokmanni stores.
