The Swedish discount retailer Dollarstore, which Finnish variety discount retailer Tokmanni Group acquired last year, has entered into agreements on opening 12 new and relocating three Dollarstore stores in Sweden during 2024-2025. According to these agreements, Dollarstore will open three new stores in Sweden this year. These stores will open their doors for the first time in Karlstad on 20 September and in the Strömpilen shopping area in Umeå and in Burlöv municipality in the end of November.
In addition, Dollarstore aims to grow its store network by opening nine new stores during 2025. These stores are planned to be opened in Lund, the Hälla shopping area in Västerås, Kiruna, the Väla shopping centre in Helsingborg, Östhammar, Båstad, Karlshamn, Stenungsund, and the Sisjön shopping centre in Gothenburg (Göteborg).

In addition to growing its store network, Dollarstore has decided to relocate three of its Dollarstore stores. In Landskrona, a new store is expected to replace the current one in early 2025. In Bro, a better store is scheduled to open its doors for the first time in Autumn of 2025. In the Backaplan shopping area in Gothenburg (Göteborg), Dollarstore will relocate its store to new store premises closer to the end of 2025.
