Tokmanni has purchased land for a new, comprehensive Tokmanni store in Nilsiä

Tokmanni, variety discount retail chain, has purchased three adjacent plots of land in the Nilsiä city center. They will be combined into one plot, on which a new Tokmanni store will be built.
The new Tokmanni store will be located in the immediate vicinity of Nilsiä’s other commercial services at Nilsiäntie 70, 73300 Nilsiä.
Tokmanni’s current store in Nilsiä will serve its customers until the new store is completed.
“The current Tokmanni in Nilsiä has served customers well for a long time. However, the store has become too small and cannot accommodate all the products our customers want. We are very pleased to announce the launch of this long-awaited store project,” says Harri Koponen, Vice President, Store Network and Concept at Tokmanni.
The permitting processes for the new store building has been started. The construction work is supposed to start immediately after the building permit is confirmed.
“If the process proceeds quickly, it is possible that the opening of the new Tokmanni store can be celebrated in late 2025,” says Koponen.
