Tokmanni has revamped its Tiiriö store in Hämeenlinna – Great prices with better servic

Tokmanni, Finland’s leading general discount retailer, has revamped its Tiiriö store in Hämeenlinna in line with its newest store concept, which emphasises quick and easy shopping.
The store has a new shelf arrangement that enables Tokmanni’s extensive product assortment to be displayed better than before. Out of the individual product categories, more sales space has been allocated to seasonal products in particular, as well as to plants and garden products sold indoors. At the same time, these product assortments and the ranges of products related to beauty, health and wellbeing have been supplemented.
The window decals and store signs have also been revamped to improve the customer experience. Other new features include a recycling point for small waste electrical and electronic equipment and a point of sale for Veikkaus games. The store already had – and still has – a collection point for purchases made in the Tokmanni online store, a Posti Parcel Point and Lehtipiste Pakettipiste parcel lockers, for example. In addition, there is an extensive garden department in connection with the store. Retail selling space at the Tiiriö store remains unchanged at around 2,750 square metres.
“We are very satisfied with our revamped Tiiriö store in Hämeenlinna. The store is now significantly more modern and pleasant than before, as well as being even more service-oriented, which will definitely please both our customers and employees,” says Mathias Kivikoski, Sales and Marketing Director at Tokmanni.
The Tokmanni store in Tiiriö employs around 15 retail sector professionals. Under the supervision of Store Manager Riitta Ventelä, customers are served from 8 am to 9 pm on weekdays, from 8 am to 8 pm on Saturdays, and from 10 am to 7 pm on Sundays. The store is located at Pitkätanhuankatu 1, 13130 Hämeenlinna.
The Tokmanni store in Tiiriö served its customers as normal during the renovation project.
Tokmanni takes care of safety in many ways
Special attention is paid to ensuring a safe shopping experience. The safety of customers and employees is ensured with protective screens installed at checkouts and by offering customers hand sanitiser during their visit and reminding them to keep a safe distance with posters and announcements. In addition, it is recommended that employees and customers wear face masks. To celebrate the completion of the renovation project, the Tiiriö store in Hämeenlinna will have special offers from Thursday 18 February to Sunday 21 February 2021. Because of the coronavirus situation, no events will be held at the store, and no surprise gift buckets will be handed out to customers.
