Tokmanni joins the UN Global Compact initiative
Tokmanni has signed the United Nations Global Compact initiative and has been registered as a participant by the UN Global Compact Office. This action is a step in Tokmanni’s commitment to sustainable business practices and to the UN Global Compact’s Ten Principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption.
Tokmanni's Code of Conduct and sustainability program are well in line with the ten principles and sustainability is a strategic focus area for Tokmanni. Tokmanni aims to act responsibly in all its activities. By participating in the initiative, Tokmanni wants to emphasize the importance of corporate responsibility and its commitment to active development of sustainability management and performance.
The UN Global Compact is the world's largest corporate responsibility initiative with over 8,000 business participants in 135 countries.
