Tokmanni will refurbish and expand its store in the Ruoholahti shopping centre in Helsinki – more extensive assortments and an improved customer experience

Tokmanni has entered into an agreement on a significant expansion of its store in the Ruoholahti shopping centre in Helsinki. The improvements will enable Tokmanni to meet customer needs even better than before.

The Tokmanni store in the Ruoholahti shopping centre in Helsinki was opened in 2016. Its retail selling space will increase from around 1,300 square metres to more than 1,800 square metres through an expansion into the adjacent facilities.

The expansion will allow the Tokmanni store to offer its customers a much more comprehensive selection in all product segments. Its assortments will increase in apparel, home supplies and tools in particular. The expansion will also increase the number of store staff by three or four.

All of these changes are designed to better meet customer demand and further improve the customer experience.

“Our customers who use the Tokmanni store that is located in the busiest area of Ruoholahti have been requesting wider assortments, and we are now very pleased to announce that our product assortments will grow significantly with the refurbishment. By increasing the size of our store, we will be able to offer our customers a significantly wider product assortment and a more pleasant customer experience,” says Harri Koponen, Tokmanni’s Vice President, Store Network and Concept.

Tokmanni aims to carry out the expansion and refurbishment of the store, which is located on the second floor of the Ruoholahti shopping centre, by the end of August 2023 and keep the store open during the project. The opening of the expanded store is scheduled for August.
