Topin & Associates Promotes Abby Mansfield: She Now Heads the Agency’s Creative Department

CHICAGO, Ill. — September 9, 2010 — Chicago agency Topin & Associates (topin.com) announces that Abby Mansfield has been elevated to Senior Vice President, Creative Director and will lead all aspects of the agency’s creative department.

 “Abby is an accomplished strategist and writer. In addition to leading the agency’s Creative Department, she will continue to direct the strategy and creative for several of our clients,” said Al Topin, president. “Her strategic vision, combined with creative intuition has helped build campaigns that helped accelerate results for our clients’ brands.”

Mansfield, who is a member of the senior management team, has been with Topin & Associates for nearly 15 years, orchestrating many of the creative campaigns that have received recognition, including the Globals, Rx Awards, and IN AWE Awards. She is one of the main architects of Topin’s strategic approach to branding: Pepper Logic™ a disciplined system for developing  advertising and marketing programs that deliver impact.

In addition to her expanded role, Mansfield will remain active in the industry. She sits on the editorial board for PM360, bylines several creative articles a year, and is a member of the Healthcare Businesswoman’s Association (HBA). This year, Mansfield, along with colleagues John Diaz, Vice President, Creative Director and Barclay Missen, Director, Digital Communications, will be co-hosting the Midwest Globals Judging this September.

Before joining Topin & Associates, Mansfield worked as a senior copywriter for another health care agency in Chicago. She has nearly 20 years of health care advertising and direct marketing experience, and has helped implement brand campaigns for Azilect (Teva Neuroscience); CitraNatal (Mission Pharmacal); and the Medication Delivery and Biopharma Solutions business units for Baxter.
