Following the amazing success of Salon Privé’s inaugural Cars & Coffee meeting earlier this month, details of the cars attending the meeting on the 3rd July at Blenheim Palace have been revealed.

Hot on the heels of the news of 2016’s Chubb Concours d’Elégance class announcement, Salon Privé’s July Cars & Coffee meet will celebrate some of the very best cars made in the 60s and 70s. Visitors will be able to see a public display of best-of-breed classics, which includes a 1973 BMW 3.0 CSL and ex-Ted Toleman Jaguar E-Type Roaster Series 3.

The BMW CSL is a well-known silhouette for all sports car fans. Made in the 70s as a one-off homologation special for the European Touring Car series, this particular CSL is finished in Golf Yellow with a Scheel lightweight interior, and is sure to bring some sunshine to the Cars & Coffee breakfast meet. Also confirmed is a 1971 Rolls-Royce Corniche Convertible. The Corniche is one of the most popular and longest-running production cars made by Rolls-Royce, and a well-known car of the decade.

Another special car racing to Cars & Coffee is an ex-Ted Toleman Jaguar E-Type from 1974. The later Series 3, V12-powered Roadster has unique provenance, having been owned by the former Formula 1 team owner. The UK-based constructor is most noted for giving Ayrton Senna his first F1 drive, and his car will be prominently displayed at next month’s meeting.

Acting as a public preview of the main Salon Privé event on 1st to 3rd September, 30 classic cars will be on public display in Blenheim’s prestigious East Courtyard as part of July’s get-together. The event, which is open to owners, enthusiasts and connoisseurs, can be enjoyed for a small Blenheim ‘Park & Gardens’ fee.

In true concours style, only the finest classic cars will be on display at the main event in September and early entries for the July edition of Cars & Coffee also include a 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing. The iconic Gullwing is known to have been the fastest production car of its day with a top speed in excess of 150mph and remains a favourite of both young and old classic car fans.

Salon Privé’s Chubb Concours d’Elégance is celebrated as one of the top three concours competitions in the world and this public preview event will give visitors unrivalled access to these exotic and much-loved classic cars from a golden era of motoring.

Meanwhile, owners are urged to register their interest here for the third and final Cars & Coffee event held on Sunday 21st August. Entitled ‘Speed & Style’, the Sunday meeting will pay homage to phenomenal power and elegance, as well as acting as a preview for the popular Pirelli Prestige & Performance Competition. Guests to this August event will have the opportunity to enjoy some amazing cars and soak up the opulence of Blenheim Palace at the final coffee morning ahead of the main Salon Privé event.

Tickets for Salon Privé are available now, including the Full Hospitality option for each of the three days, which includes luncheon, complimentary bar, afternoon tea and access to all areas of Salon Privé, as well as Blenheim Palace, Park and Gardens.
