Providing a unique perspective on the inner workings of the automotive aftermarket, leading distributor of autoparts and workshop equipment, Andrew Page, has released two videos showing how the company ticks.

Showing the team behind the scenes – The Autoparts People – the videos give a rare insight into what goes on as thousands of products travel the country daily. The videos demonstrate a day in the life of an Andrew Page part, as well as showing the sheer scale of Andrew Page’s nationwide distribution operation.

Taken from the viewpoint of a part distributed by Andrew Page, the first video outlines the journey taken by a part from the point of order right through to being restocked at the local branch, using Andrew Page’s advanced overnight stock replenishment service. On average, 25,000-30,000 items are picked and distributed by the company each night.

All parts start their journey at Andrew Page’s state-of-the-art Markham Vale facility, before being distributed to one of 114 nationwide branches in order to be ready for local delivery when required.

The second video takes the viewer on a rapid tour of a typical Andrew Page branch, showing how substantial the branches are in terms of the quantity and variety of parts available from the Andrew Page network. Covering over 62,000 SKUs from over 200 brands, Andrew Page’s distribution system is geared to ensuring that its customers have the right part at the right time.

About Andrew Page Limited

Having originally been founded by Andrew Page in 1917, his son James, formed Andrew Page Limited in 1946. The company is an independent distributor of quality vehicle components, workshop equipment, tools and diagnostics.
