2015 was a successful year for Andrew Page’s AutoInsider Live! tradeshows, with the event series reaching record levels of attendance of both exhibitors and visitors. A host of competitions ran across all events, with some incredible prizes being awarded to attendees that included TVs, tool kits, BTCC race event tickets, Spitfire passenger flights and even a MINI Cooper.

With the overall aim of bringing suppliers and technicians closer together, AutoInsider Live! tradeshows provide attendees with a unique mix of supplier stands and activities designed to help qualified and aspiring vehicle technicians stay up to date with the latest developments in the automotive aftermarket. The full 2016 programme of events has been confirmed, with four events across the UK taking place throughout the year.

The 2016 calendar kicks off at Elland Road in Leeds, the city where the company was founded in 1917. Kicking off the theme for all this year’s series of events “Tomorrow’s Garage Today”, the event on Thursday 17th March will showcase new and innovative technology in the marketplace, highlighting ways workshops can minimise downtime and increase profitability.

The success of the events in 2015 has led to a wide range of aftermarket suppliers already committing their support to the events for this year, and visitor figures show that more and more garage owners and aftermarket professionals are seeing the value in attending their local event. Long term supporters of AutoInsider Live! include Bosch, BM Catalysts, WhoCanFixMyCar.com, TRW and MANN+HUMMEL among many others.

“We are really happy with how the events have developed since our first one in Harrogate back in 2014. The blend of interactive workshops, seminars and exhibitor space offers attendees the chance to pick up new skills and find out more about the industry than ever before, regardless of how experienced they are,” said Simon Mullin, Sales & Marketing Director at Andrew Page.

“The events this year are all based around the same concept of looking forward to the next developments we’ll see in the aftermarket, helping garages stay as up to date as possible and ready for any changes as the industry progresses.”

With three further events to follow the Leeds tradeshow, at Sandown Park London, Manchester Event City and Newcastle Metro Radio Arena, the 2016 schedule will continue to reach a vast number of garage technicians and apprentices.

The headline prizes for 2016 are to be announced, but all winners from 2015 have now been confirmed, with Trevor Chillery of T J Services 2001 Ltd taking the top prize of a MINI Cooper having won the draw that was open to all attendees across the 2015 AutoInsider Live! events.

On the win, Mr Chillery commented: “I have used Andrew Page as a parts supplier for over 25 years, so I was interested in going along to the Sandown Park event and I thought it was a great. When I got the call to say I’d won the MINI I couldn’t believe it, things like that don’t happen to me. It arrived in January and looked amazing, thanks to Andrew Page.”

Sandown Park, London:              29th May
