Leading distributor of autoparts and workshop equipment, Andrew Page, has launched a new range of clutch kits from Mintex, a global leader in friction technology.

Engineered to original equipment specifications and manufactured at TS16949 audited facilities, the new Mintex clutch kits are made using formulated friction materials on the drive plates, offering a smoother clutch engagement specific to the application, and incorporating clutch bearings with minimal friction self-centring technologies.

The clutch kits are precision engineered to match a car’s original clutch system providing a consistent performance under demanding driving environments. All products are identified for traceability and quality is monitored and assured through BS EN ISO 9001:2008 certified processes.

Simon Mullin, sales and marketing director of Andrew Page, said: “Mintex is a well-known and trusted name within the friction technology industry, so we’re delighted to be offering the new clutch kits to our customers.”

The new clutch kits are part of a continuous programme of quality controlled product development, with a comprehensive range including standard clutch kits, concentric slave cylinders and solid flywheel conversion kits.

“As leaders in friction technology, we’re always looking at ways to improve automotive systems,” comments Lawrence Bleasdale, sales director of Mintex . “Our knowledge and experience within this means we’re well-placed to develop additional products, such as the new clutch kits, that will further complement our other ranges.”
