AP Racing bolsters Radi-CAL™ GT line-up

AP Racing has expanded its innovative Radi-CAL™ range with two new brake callipers, the CP6277 Front and CP6278 Rear, designed specifically for GT/Endurance race applications.

CP6277
This six-piston Radi-CAL™ caliper features a radial mount, 210 x 42mm ctrs and is machined from solid Monobloc aluminium alloy. The CP6277 is suitable for all GT and Endurance racing.

Built around AP Racing's Radi-CAL™ asymmetric design concept, the CP6277 offers improved dynamic performance and is designed to operate with iron or carbon brake discs. Thanks to its ducted air cooling feature, the caliper temperatures are reduced during operation, improving braking performance. 

The new caliper features titanium pistons and comes with dry-bleeds fitted as standard, whilst optional ceramic piston insulation caps are available.

CP6278
The CP6278 is a rear caliper four-piston Radi-CAL™ design suitable for all GT and Endurance racing, and features the same cutting edge technology as the CP6277. This includes AP Racing's Radi-CAL™ asymmetric design concept as well as ducted air cooling and a monobloc aluminium body.

Calipers are supplied with pistons to suit a 25mm thick brake pad. Optional extras include dry-bleed fittings and a body Thermo-Sensor, as well as ceramic piston insulation caps when used with a 32mm brake disc.
