AP Racing reveals Factory Big Brake upgrade for BMW 5 Series

AP Racing has announced a comprehensive upgrade for owners of the BMW 5 Series (F10) looking to enhance braking performance.

Featuring Radi-CAL™ and carbon ceramic technology, the front brake kit delivers a highly responsive and flexible brake system that perfectly complements the car’s performance.

The Factory Big Brake Kit reflect AP Racing’s focus on OEM partnerships and the development of high performance components for specific vehicles. Designed as an upgrade to the original factory supplied brakes, the kit suits vehicles with 19" aftermarket wheels, and draws on features and technology derived from the company’s motorsport pursuits.

Large discs and multi-piston calipers considerably increase a car’s stopping power, allowing for more responsive late braking and reduced braking effort, while boosting confidence levels on track. Developed to resist fade after repeated high speed stops, the AP Racing Factory Big kits are fully adapted for regular motoring use, with dust seals and a durable, anti-corrosion paint finish.

Six piston front kit - CP8521Z1002

This kit uses forged World Radi-CAL™ six Piston calipers, which offer a significant weight reduction in mass compared to conventional designs, through the application of AP Racing's patented Radi-CAL™ design concept. The kit comes complete with a Ø370mm x 36mm thick/ 48 Vane, GA 'J' Hook, "Float in the Bell" mounted brake disc.

The choice of either black or red calipers is available.
