Hervé Boyer joins Nexteer Automotive as Vice President, Chief Operating Officer – Europe and South America
Nexteer Automotive, a global leader in intuitive motion control has appointed Hervé Boyer to lead the growth efforts of the company’s Europe & South America Division. Taking the role of vice president, chief operating officer – Europe and South America, Boyer will also be a member of Nexteer’s global strategic council.
Hervé joins Nexteer from NBHX, a global automotive leader in interior surfaces, where he held the role as group executive. Prior to that he gained experience at the Faurecia Group where he served as vice president of the French, US & Japanese customer divisions, as well as the company’s Southern Europe region. While there, Hervé also served in the capacity of president & CEO of North America for Faurecia Interior Systems.
Those previous roles have given Hervé extensive experience in sales, product line management and operations. He also holds an engineering degree from the Ecole Centrale de Nantes and is certified in Advanced/Leadership programmes from both Harvard Business School and INSEAD.
Commenting on his new role, Hervé said, “I am excited to be joining the Nexteer team, where I already feel like part of the family. Over the next few years, I can foresee the company building on its already impressive global leadership within steering, driveline, ADAS and autonomous technologies. The Europe & South America Division is very competitive and economically challenging, and is the base of a number of key platforms for OEMs. Hervé will be based in the Nexteer Europe & South America Division Office in Paris and will report to Laurent Bresson, president and global chief operating officer.
