Leading licence monitoring company LICENCECHECK has joined the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) Suppliers and Supporters initiative as an Associate organisation.
The partnership sees LICENCECHECK, leader in the field for real-time driving licence checking, offer a number of benefits to FORS subscribers to aid the efficient and safe running of their fleets.
FORS subscribers will profit from discounted access to LICENCECHECK’S state-of-the-art DAVIS (Driver and Vehicle Information Solution) software to support their fleet operations. This powerful management software includes tachograph and telematics support solutions, and for those running mixed fleets due to larger operations, there’s also a grey fleet support. The central dashboard allows customers to mix-and-match modules relating to specific fleet-related needs.
In addition, LICENCECHECK provides members with the facility to download real-time licence validity and entitlement checks from the DVLA, as well as offering users detailed management and reporting tools for multiple driver types. The service also supports additional CPC and MiDAS data.
LICENCECHECK managing director Richard Brown commented on the partnership and said: “We’re always continuing to improve our services and felt it was important to offer FORS customers the ability to access driver and vehicle information from a central dashboard. Our DAVIS product does just this.
“The opportunity to work with an industry-leading scheme such as FORS shows a great message for LICENCECHECK and its services. The partnership represents a chance for FORS subscribers to manage their ever-changing fleets with the very best infrastructures available. As the FORS initiative expands to include light delivery vehicles, it’s important to have sufficient flexibility to accommodate different types of vehicles and drivers.”
Paul Wilkes, FORS business services manager, commented: “We are pleased to welcome LICENCECHECK to our Suppliers and Supporters initiative. Having LICENCECHECK provide support to help our members achieve and sustain the FORS Standard is key to ensuring we uphold the qualities that enhance the image of the industry as a whole. It’s essential to our central philosophy that we promote road safety and improve professional standards. LICENCECHECK only further enhances the number of great suppliers and supporters already on board.”
FORS is an accreditation scheme encompassing safety, fuel efficiency, vehicle emissions and improved operations, helping fleet operators measure and monitor performance while encouraging best practice.
