London calling as Andrew Page opens in Woodford Green
Leading autoparts and workshop equipment distributor, Andrew Page, has made a strategic move by expanding its branch network within the M25 area, opening a new site in Woodford Green, North London. The site opened in December and has already seen the strongest start of any Andrew Page site for over five years.
The move has created various employment opportunities in the area and provides motorists and garages with access to thousands of automotive parts and products. The new site underlines Andrew Page’s commitment to expanding it national network of branches throughout 2016, and the new team in Woodford Green joins the 2,600+ employees that make up the Andrew Page network.
Ensuring that garages get their parts when needed, the new Woodford Green site utilises a fleet of six motorcycles – an Andrew Page first – streamlining distribution in the local area. Additional support from a fleet of five Andrew Page vans means that orders of all shapes and sizes can benefit from a prompt delivery service. As with all Andrew Page sites, Woodford Green will enjoy frequent stock replenishment, twice a day, through the company’s extensive network of distribution hubs all served by the Markham Vale central distribution facility.
Andrew Page has historically operated as a national motor factor, supplying a wide range of quality automotive parts to the trade through a network of over 100 branches. In 2015, the company also launched a network of retail outlets with an online click and collect function, providing car enthusiasts and home engineers access to all parts offered through Andrew Page.
With the central distribution facility in Derbyshire stocking over 140,000ft2 of car parts and distribution supported by 940 vehicles, the North London branch will be able to provide the right parts to customers at the right time.
Simon Mullin, Andrew Page sales and marketing director said: “The M25 and London area presents Andrew Page with a great opportunity, and the Woodford Green site is the first step in us being able to serve the garages in the area effectively. It is great for us to come to a new area and expand the business, creating more jobs and opportunities locally in the process. The new branch has already got off to a flying start.”
The Andrew Page Woodford Green site is now open at UNIT 1C Woodford Trading Estate, Southend Road, Woodford Green IG8 8HF, more information can be found at www.andrewpage.com
