Lord Mayor reopens London Taxi Company’s Manchester dealership
The Lord Mayor of Manchester, Paul Murphy OBE, opened the door to The London Taxi Company’s (LTC) new dealership in Trafford Park for the first time on 22 March, following its major redevelopment work.
Councillor Murphy was invited to unveil the new sales, service and parts showroom for Manchester and the surrounding area, showcasing LTC’s substantial investment into the facility.
The new showroom is over 8,000 square foot in size and boasts an impressive workshop with modern equipment in full view of the reception and waiting area through an 18 foot, full height window. It hosted more than 50 local drivers, visitors and staff during the reopening ceremony.
The relaunch event also boasted an opportunity for taxi drivers to visit and inspect the workshop, meet the dealership staff and test drive the latest TX4 Euro 6 cab - the cleanest taxi ever made by LTC.
Richard Gordon, LTC commercial director, commented: “Manchester is a crucial part of LTC’s future strategy; not only as a thriving, modern and culturally-rich city - but for the taxi trade too, which is precisely why we’re here investing in new facilities.
“The reopening is a really exciting day for us, especially with the Lord Mayor opening the doors. The local taxi drivers have been viewing the dealership, which has the latest technology and facilities to repair and service cabs as quickly as possible, as well as driving the latest TX4 Euro 6 cab. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for our Trafford Park dealership.”
The new dealership address is Unit H1, Wheel Forge Way, Trafford Park, Manchester, M17 1EH. To book a service or find out more call us today on 0161 8313434 or complete the online form at http://london-taxis.co.uk/email.
