Momentum increases as Andrew Page launches new online store
Expanding its position as the UK’s leading automotive parts and workshop equipment distributor, Andrew Page has now launched its new online store aimed at retail customers, including enthusiasts and professional technicians.
The new store offers online access to the full breadth and depth of Andrew Page’s product range and reflects the growing nature of the business over the last 18 months. Jim Sumner, Chairman commented, “After a record Q1 in 2015, completion of our Markham Vale expansion last month and the launch of our new online store, mean that we are confident of maintaining our double-digit growth in the business across a range of channels and product categories.”
With a detailed catalogue, a dedicated customer support service along with a branch click & collect option, the online store has been designed to provide the same value and advice that Andrew Page’s traditional customers have come to expect over its 98 year history.
“This is a logical step in the development of our increasingly multi-channel business,” said Mark Saunders, chief executive of Andrew Page. “The specific investment in expanding our central distribution centre was to significantly develop our B2C and retail capability, along with expanding our consumables offering.”
Covering everything from brake pads to clutches, customers can ensure they receive the right parts for the job, thanks to accurate mapping of OE parts suppliers’ data against the UK vehicle parc. Armed with just a registration number, the correct items can be selected and purchased with the minimum of fuss.
The new online development comes as a result of collaboration with foremost vehicle and parts data platform providers, CarweB and MAM Software. This has provided highly accurate catalogue content on a stable platform, and has proved perfect for on-line operations as well as over the counter sales, all in real time.
