Visitors to the inaugural London Motor Show at Battersea Evolution on 6 – 8 May can take a #blackcabselfie and become the star of the show. To have their photo on display on the LTC show stand throughout the event, all attendees need to do is take a selfie with, or inside, the LTC TX4 on display at the show and post it to Twitter or Instagram using #blackcabselfie.

An icon of London’s streets, the London black cab remains the smartest and greenest way for all of the capital’s visitors to travel. All black cab drivers are fully licenced, meaning that passengers can feel safe on every journey. They have also passed The Knowledge, meaning that all licensed cabbies know 25,000 London streets within 320 routes, so they will always use the quickest way to your destination.

Black cabs are getting smarter, with card payments accepted by all licenced taxi drivers by October 2016. Customers can also book their trip through the GETT or Hailo smartphone app for even greater convenience.

All new LTC black cabs comply with stringent Euro-6 emissions regulations, while the company is investing £300 million to develop its new zero emissions capable (ZEC) taxi, which will go on sale in 2017. LTC’s TX4 is also fully accessible for all customers, whatever their mobility needs.

President of LTC, Peter Johansen, said: “The black cab and its drivers are icons of London’s streets, so it is fitting that it is properly represented at the inaugural London Motor Show. The exceptional standards of current and future black cabs, which ensure they are faster, smarter and greener transport for all city-dwellers, means that the London taxi is sure to be an icon on the capital’s streets for many years to come.”

LTC can be found on stand L187 at the London Motor Show. Find it on Twitter and Instagram @LondonTaxiCoUK.
