Kelgray is getting ready to take to the stage at the Four Oaks Trade Show 2015, one of the UK’s most popular commercial horticultural shows, where it will exhibit state-of-the-art printing and labelling devices from leading imaging solutions provider, Toshiba TEC. Now in its 45th year, the event takes place between 8th-9th September on a 17,000m² site in Cheshire, where visitors will include commercial growers, garden centre operators, farm shop owners, landscapers, architects, designers and florists.

Formed in 1972 and based in Crawley, West Sussex, Kelgray is a longstanding approved Toshiba TEC reseller and specialises in providing label application technology solutions to a diverse range of customers. The company’s key objective is to provide solutions that can streamline business operations, reduce costs and improve productivity, even in the most challenging environments, such as a greenhouse.

Kelgray understands the vital role that high-quality printing technology plays within the horticulture sector and on Stand D105/106 visitors will be able to get hands-on with a range of devices. These include the Toshiba TEC B-EP2 and B-EP4 portable printers and the B-SA4 barcode label printer, all of which are suitable for a variety of horticultural uses, including plant labelling.

Compact and stylish, the B-EP2 and B-EP4 two and four inch portable devices offer big printer technology in the smallest possible package. Designed to provide ultimate reliability on the move, they utilise high endurance lithium-ion battery technology to ensure many hours of operation. With a clear backlit LCD screen, the devices can be either Bluetooth or Wi-Fi enabled and come with USB 2.0 supplied as standard. Ruggedness is vital for portable handheld products and the inbuilt rubber corners can easily withstand being dropped from heights up to 1.8m.

Similarly, the B-SA4 barcode label printer provides the functionality and robustness of an industrial printer with the compact footprint and ease of use of a desktop product. With fast high-quality output, industrial performance, versatile design, advanced functionality, it is available in either a plastic or metal casing. The graphical LCD display and simple to follow menu ensures the user can set up and operate the B-SA4 with ease, soon enjoying perfect readability of labels and barcodes.

Kelgray will also display a selection of Toshiba TEC’s ribbons and papers. Designed for use with the B-EP2 and B-EP4 printers, the LL paper range is suitable for most applications and environments and is top-coated in order to provide the best possible resistance to external influences.

Perfectly adapted for use in garden centres and other horticultural environments, Toshiba’s range of thermal transfer ribbons and speciality label types will offer unequalled print quality in any environment, whether printing, Self-tie, Stick in or Swing ticket labels, to price mark down, shelf edge and peg end labels.  Complementing these products is a range of highly visual, liner-free continuous label rolls in 7 individual colours that can be easily removed and re-stuck to different surfaces without leaving residue or damaging surfaces

Kelvin Smith, Managing Director of Kelgray, commented, ‘We are delighted to offer visitors to the Four Oaks Trade Show 2015 the chance to witness first-hand how Toshiba TEC’s advanced printing and labelling solutions are the perfect choices for horticultural environments. Our team of experts will be available to answer any questions and outline the various ways that we can help our customers achieve their objectives.’
