Longstanding approved Toshiba TEC reseller, Reflex Labels, has announced that it will be appearing at the PPMA Show 2015, which takes place on the 29th September - 1st October at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham. This leading industry event brings together buyers and sellers of state-of-the-art processing and packaging technology and Reflex Labels will use it as an opportunity to showcase some of Toshiba TEC’s innovative printing technology.

Now in its 25th year, the PPMA Show was founded in 1988 by a group of eight manufacturers who wished to run their own exhibition to exhibit their machinery. Now hosted by the PPMA Group, last year’s show saw more than 8,000 visitors take to the floor in search of the latest developments from across a range of industries including the food, drink, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, dairy, snacks, construction and electronic sectors. Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking has also returned as the headline sponsor for what is billed as ‘the complete production line event’.

Formed in 2002 and headquartered in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, Reflex Labels is now one of the UK’s largest suppliers of thermal transfer and direct thermal label printers. With over £150,000 worth of stock held in the UK, the company has a team of highly skilled engineers, who all have over 10 years’ experience in specifying, installing and repairing printers. It also offers high-level design, support, training and maintenance packages that are designed to ensure maximum levels of printing uptime.

Reflex Labels has worked with Toshiba TEC for a number of years and has specified its equipment across hundreds of businesses throughout the country. Scannable barcodes now play a vital role in ensuring that supply chains operate smoothly and by recognising the vital role that printing technology plays within the processing and packaging industry, the company will demonstrate a number of devices from Toshiba TEC’s industry leading range.

On show will be the B-EX4T1 industrial printer, which offers a low-cost RFID labelling solution for tracking and traceability of items, pallets and boxes. This will be alongside the small but perfectly formed B-FV4T desktop and B-EP2 portable devices and the RFID ready B-SX5 thermal transfer and direct thermal printer. Also present, the B-SA4 barcode label printer provides the functionality and robustness of an industrial printer with the compact footprint and ease of use of a desktop product. Last but not least is the DB-EA4D double-sided label printer, which has been designed to offer a low-cost and green solution for applications requiring dual sided output.

Nigel Wilson, General Manager of Reflex Labels Systems Division, commented, ‘Toshiba TEC’s printing solutions are engineered to ensure optimum supply chain performance within processing and packaging environments. We are looking forward to welcoming visitors to Stand E22, where our team of experts will be delighted to demonstrate how these products offer unrivalled reliability, speed, accuracy, ease-of-use and low cost of ownership.’
