Taking centre stage on Reflex Labels’ stand at Meatup 2015 are three state-of-the-art printing and labelling devices from Toshiba TEC, the leading imaging solutions provider. Between 30th June and 1st July visitors will able to get hands on with the B-EX4T1, B-FV4 and B-SX5 industrial printers and find out how their use can streamline logistics operations and optimise workflows in even the most challenging environments.

Formed in 2002 and headquartered in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, Reflex Labels is one of the UK’s largest suppliers of thermal transfer and direct thermal label printers. With over £150,000 worth of stock held in the UK, the company has a team of highly skilled engineers, who all have over 10 years’ experience in specifying, installing and repairing printers. It also offers high-level design, support, training and maintenance packages that are designed to ensure maximum levels of printing uptime.

Reflex Labels is a longstanding approved Toshiba TEC reseller and has specified its equipment across hundreds of businesses throughout the country. Recognising the vital role that printing technology plays within the meat processing industry, the company has chosen three Toshiba TEC devices to exhibit on Stand 533 at Meatup 2015.

Perfect for all types of food production operations, Toshiba TEC’s B-EX4T1 industrial printer offers a low-cost RFID labelling solution for tracking and traceability of items, pallets and boxes, enabling printing and encoding directly to the tag. At lower than 9W in stand-by mode, the B-EX4T1 is also the leading ecological industrial printer. A speed of 14ips, Ethernet and USB 2.0 are standard, along with options for parallel, serial and wireless LAN. It also features ribbon saving technology, which can dramatically reduce ribbon usage in most applications – specifically those with large amount of dead space between print areas on the label.

Small but perfectly formed, the B-FV4T desktop printer can fit into the tightest of spaces within a multitude of industrial environments and is designed to offer the ultimate in flexibility. Stylish, robust and powerful, it utilises both direct thermal and thermal transfer technology, is available in TS and GS options and comes with USB memory support, a choice of interfaces and connectivity options as standard.

Last but certainly not least, the RFID ready B-SX5 thermal transfer and direct thermal printer takes barcode label production to the next level, making it ideal for the highly demanding meat processing sector. Its high speed printing leads to increased efficiency and productivity, while downtime is minimised and productivity maximised thanks to its robust and resilient construction.

Nigel Wilson, General Manager Managing Director of Reflex Labels, commented, ‘Reliability, speed, accuracy and ease-of-use are vital pre-requisites for any printing technology used within the meat processing sector. It’s why we’ve selected Toshiba TEC’s B-EX4T1, B-FV4 and B-SX5 printing devices to show at Meatup 2015, and I’m convinced that anyone who visits Stand 533 and sees the products in action will be thoroughly impressed with their capabilities.’
