In response to the growing demand for customisable multifunction printing systems that are easy to integrate with business workflows, Toshiba TEC has launched twelve new A3 models. Reliable, versatile and ideal for use in busy office environments, all of the new models benefit from Toshiba’s latest e-BRIDGE Next controller technology complemented by a large tablet-style user interface that offers intuitive operation. The latest devices deliver on Toshiba’s promise of Together Information - its commitment to collaborate with clients to provide tailored, cost-effective solutions that meet their print, document management and content needs while helping them to meet their green objectives.

The new range consists of seven colour models in two series: the e-STUDIO2500AC series and the e-STUDIO5005AC series. Also available are five new monochrome models in the e-STUDIO5008A series. All systems offer printing, scanning and copying as standard functions with fax integration, optical character recognition (OCR) and pull-printing available as additional options.

Toshiba TEC’s new multifunction printing systems have been designed from the outset with versatility and ease of use in mind. Their 9” tablet-style user interface offers instant access to all functions, which makes operating them as easy and familiar as using a mobile phone.

Furthermore, this user-friendly interface can be readily customised to suit individual preferences and working requirements. It is, for example, possible to change the background image and the icons, personalise the views and create shortcuts for complex document workflow processes – all at a single tap of an icon.

Another invaluable new feature is the Dual Scan Document Feeder, which is available for models in the e-STUDIO5008A series and the e-STUDIO5005AC series. This industry-leading document feeder has an exceptionally large capacity of 300 sheets and allows double-sided scanning at an impressive speed of up to 240 impressions per minute.

Perfectly adapted to the demands of modern business environments, all e-BRIDGE Next devices support cloud and mobile printing. Optional e-BRIDGE Plus connectors for Microsoft OneDrive, Google Drive and Dropbox provide direct access to cloud services and enables documents to be sent to or printed from the user’s service of choice or via the MFP. Further to cloud functionality, all devices can easily connect to mobile devices, supporting AirPrint, Google Cloud Print or the Mopria Print Service.

To further simplify administration, Toshiba TEC’s new range also enables the deployment of workflows for user management, centralised monitoring and reporting.

Toshiba TEC’s on-going commitment to create a greener future is reflected in the design and development of the new printing solutions, as lower energy consumption and advanced energy save functions are key benefits. The systems also comply with leading environmental programmes and standards such as the ENERGY STAR® and Blue Angel. Additionally, all devices in the new range are delivered carbon neutral as part of Toshiba’s Carbon Zero Scheme.

“Here at Toshiba we understand that every industry sector has unique workflow requirements and to cater for this diversity we have developed systems that empower users and give them full autonomy and flexibility”, says Jeremy Spencer, Marketing Director at Toshiba TEC. “These twelve new models deliver on the promise of our Together Information philosophy and provide tailor-made, cost effective document management solutions that improve business processes and effectiveness.”
