Toshiba TEC, Auto-ID solutions provider, has announced the introduction of its new B-FV4 series of stylish, robust and powerful desktop printers. Designed to be small enough to fit into the tightest of spaces within a multitude of industrial and commercial environments, the B-FV4 is ideal to produce labels for use in an office, pill bottle labels in a hospital, pallet labels in a warehouse or labels for use in a post room.

Able to seamlessly integrate into existing systems, whatever the specification or printing requirement, the B-FV4 series comprises two key models – the B-FV4D uses direct thermal printing and the B-FV4T utilises both direct thermal and thermal transfer technology. Both variants are available in 300dpi and 200dpi options and come with USB memory support and a choice of communication interface options as standard.

When it comes to maintenance, it couldn’t be easier with these machines, and drop-in paper loading allows quick and easy changes of media, while consumable parts can be upgraded with a snap-in printhead and platen assembly. Furthermore, the B-FV4T is available with a 300m ribbon, improving efficiency with less media changes required.

With the design and build quality that customers have come to expect from Toshiba TEC, the B-FV4 also boasts impressive energy saving credentials. It is also supported by a wide range of long-lasting consumables such as approved ribbons, labels, and cleaning products, which helps to make every device as sustainable as possible.

‘The B-FV4 series packs a huge punch and is the perfect complement to our existing portfolio,’ commented Jeremy Spencer, marketing director of Toshiba TEC UK. ‘It raises the bar for what customers should expect from a desktop printer and I’m confident that its high performance, incredible efficiency and excellent user friendliness will be welcomed by customers looking for a flexible yet robust device.’
