Toshiba TEC, the leading printing solutions provider, has announced the latest addition to its industrial printer range – the B-EX6. With a multitude of cutting edge features, the B-EX6 series combines state-of-the-art technology with usability, reliability and the lowest possible total cost of ownership.
Reliability and performance usually come at a cost but with the B-EX6 premium capabilities come as standard. Designed for use in the most demanding applications, this heavy-duty device has a rugged and durable design that ensures maximum uptime and protection against the knocks that are commonplace in these types of environments. With a level of operator usability that sets new standards for industrial printing, a specially designed bi-fold cover reduces its overall footprint, allowing it to be sited in the most convenient location.
Throughout its entire portfolio, Toshiba TEC designs in features that offer the lowest total cost of ownership and the B-EX6 is no exception. These include an extended long-life print head, a unique ‘ribbon save’ mode and an 800m ribbon, which all contribute to improve efficiencies and ultimately reduce costs over the lifetime of the printer. In addition, high throughput is facilitated via advanced processing capabilities that can achieve speeds of up to 12 inches per second, increasing overall efficiency and productivity.
Perfect for use in a diverse array of vertical sectors – from automotive, chemical, pharmaceutical, textile, electronics, and food and beverage, to utilities, retail, distribution, transport and logistics, telecommunications and healthcare – the B-EX6 series is available in a variety of models that suit any application. 200dpi and 300dpi variants offer superior print quality and perfect readability of barcodes, while flat head and near edge head models enable easy replacement of legacy printer estates. In addition, there is a wide range of media and options to suit any printing application. To enable flexible connectivity, USB and Ethernet come as standard, WiFi is optional, and Bluetooth functionality allows for parameter settings to be controlled from a smartphone or tablet.
