TOTAL AOC WEIGHS IN WITH NEW SOFTWARE AND MANUALS FOR HEAVY JET SPECIALIST

Specialist aircraft business Finesse Executive says it has ‘significantly’ increased efficiency across its global operations since implementing Total AOC’s Centrik mobile management software.  

The London-based bespoke aviation provider, which manages aircraft, sales and acquisitions, was keen to introduce a mobile communications solution to streamline processes and provide uniformity to all its pilots across the world.

Accountable Manager, James Wiskin, said Finesse Executive compared a number of different management solutions before choosing Centrik.

He said: “We had a good look around the market to see what was available and Centrik was easily the most effective for us. It is a very intuitive piece of software and can be accessed from anywhere in the world by our pilots who are usually away from the business.

“It was also important for us to have a demonstration before we purchased the system which the team was happy to provide, and that the CAA accepted our use of it. That is very important to us.”

He added: “Using Centrik has made a significant difference in terms of time-saving and efficiency because it eliminates paperwork and tracks everything we do. It’s an excellent communications tool and using it helps massively towards Phase 1 Safety Management Compliance.”

In addition to providing Centrik in readiness for the new EASA regulations, Total AOC has re-written Finesse Executive’s manuals, and holds the post of Quality Manager.

Wiskin said: “Their turn-around time for the manuals was brilliant and the content was excellent. I know of other companies that write their own manuals, and to be honest it can be a bit of a mess. Total AOC have people who are continually writing manuals so they know exactly what they are doing, and it shows.

“We have them as our Quality Manager as well because it’s much more effective to sub-contract the position than have someone full-time, and the experience and knowledge levels they bring to the role you would not usually be able to afford if it was needed on a full-time basis.”

He added: “What I especially like about them is that they are prepared to be very flexible. They don’t just offer a ‘take it or leave it’ service, they will help in any way they can which means we have really been able to integrate the team into our business.”
