Tourism Authorities of Thailand, Stockholm office, welcomes a new director for the Nordic and Baltic countries

Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Stockholm office welcomes new director for the Nordic and Baltic countries, Mrs. Orn Doungchan. Her long and in-depth experience in domestic market and Thailand tourism products in Tourism Authority of Thailand will help positioning Thailand as a top favorite destination in the Nordic and the Baltic market

 

TAT will continue the campaign Amazing New Chapter for Visit Thailand Year 2022-2023 and to promote Thailand as a world-class destination that offers something for everyone under ‘Amazing Thailand Has It All’. Director Orn Doungchan who has highly involved in corporate planning and developing Thailand’s product will carry out this approach to keep Thailand as a top destination in the Nordic and the Baltic market.  Her vision is to showcase that Thailand has more than just beautiful beaches. Travelers can visit the county all year-round, not primarily during the winter season. Most importantly of all, the aim is to drive the country toward sustainable tourism.

“I am very pleased to come back to Stockholm office again as a new director of Tourism Authority of Thailand, Stockholm Office. I will continue to work with TAT’s strategy to drive Thailand towards experience-based hub and sustainable tourism. In the coming years, TAT Stockholm mission will focus on ‘driving demand’ for ‘meaningful travel’ and to ‘shape supply’ by encouraging an eco-friendly tourism for our travelers to enjoy. We will also continue to work closely and strengthen the relationships between our partners both within Thailand and in the Nordic and Baltic countries.” says, Director Orn Doungchan.

 

Director Orn Doungchan has already been familiar with the market and the tourism industry from her previous years of experience as the deputy director for Nordic and Baltic countries. Her long-term international relation would help strategize and showcase Thailand to a new chapter with a sustainable approach.
