Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Stockholm Office joins hand with Kastanj Collection to promote the reopening of Thailand for the Nordic countries.

Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Stockholm Office, has appointed Kastanj Collection to represent TAT for the upcoming “Reopening of Thailand” project for marketing in the Nordic countries (Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Iceland). Kastanj Collection’s mission is to reshape the image of Thailand as an ecofriendly beach destination as well as the touch of the genuine Thailand, to bring Nordic travelers to Thailand, as well as to boost Thailand tourism.

The number of arrivals from the Nordic countries to Thailand (before Covid-19) is about 700,000 visitors annually. TAT, Stockholm Office, strives to kick back number of tourists from the Nordic region and aims to keep Thailand as a top long-haul destination in the Nordic countries.

  • The travel industry has faced the uncertainty and the most difficult period in the history during the pandemic. Now many countries have restarted opening the countries for tourism. Thailand is one of them. While the country standstills during the pandemic, Thailand has renewed products and destinations to offer travelers from the beach and active holiday destinations, gastronomy, cultural heritage, eco-friendly, and city travel. I am delighted to have Kastanj Collection as our strategic partner to strengthen our marketing and communication strategies in close collaboration with the Nordic media and travel agencies says Eurblarp Sripiromya, Director of Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) for Nordic and Baltic countries.

Kastanj Collection has been established by Jeanette Bolin after working more than 27 years in the travel business. She held different positions within sales, production and representation. After building a strong network, both globally and within the Nordic Market, she is confident that her visions and ideas will be catalyst between the customers and Nordic Travel market.
