Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Stockholm Office wins the Norwegian Grand Travel Award 2020 as the "Best Foreign Tourist Office."
For the fifth time, TAT Stockholm Office wins the prize “Best Foreign Tourist Office." The honor was given at the Norwegian travel gala on January 23rd, 2020.
25th Anniversary Grand Travel Award 2020 was held on January 23rd, 2020, in Oslo, Norway, and organized by an independent Norwegian Travel Trade Magazine, TravelNews, who annually arranges the prestigious Award Gala. Eurblarp Sriphiromya, Director Tourism Authority of Thailand Stockholm Office for the Nordic countries and the Baltic States was present during the celebrations and awards ceremony:
“The tourism industry is becoming extremely competitive every year, and to maintain Thailand's marketing profile has become a big challenge. We are honored to receive the award as Best Foreign Tourist Office voted by the Norwegian Travel Industry. This year Tourism Authority of Thailand marks its 60th anniversary. The core message is to continue “Open to the new Shades” concept to promote new destinations, more cultures, nature, local experiences and highlight the importance of responsible tourism and sustainable Thailand by instilling environmental consciousness among the tourists, tourism operators and local communities.
