“Best Wishes (Pla-Ta-Pian)” sending tender, loving and care (TLC) to cheer up the world that we shall all overcome all difficulties and hardships from the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic together.

TAT’s sending you wishes for good health and prosperity through “Pla-Ta-Pian” – Thai-style wind mobiles in the shape of a fish, which the Thai people have been using as a symbol for strength and good fortune.

The woven fish mobiles, made from bai lan, or fan palm fronds, is one of Thailand’s cultural heritages. In the old days, Thai people believed that Pla-Ta-Pian was a symbol of abundance and strength, as the fish could survive in any water sources and normally grew to full size around the same time that rice was ready for harvesting. A Pla-Ta-Pian mobile is also considered auspicious for a baby and was traditionally hung over a baby’s cradle to bless them with good health and prosperity.

Never give up

Be strong

Know that you’re not alone

And we’ll get through this together
