Spain and NCL cruise together

08-05-13.- Spain, a top tourism destination, was part of Norwegian Cruise Lines Key Partners meeting last July 29 with a business breakfast presentation followed by an evening networking reception at the Consular Residence of Spain with an approximate attendance of 130 guests. Spain aims to provide support and training to travel agencies selling NCL and tours to Spain.

Spain is the second country in Europe with the largest number of embarking passengers. (1 out of 5 passengers in Europe embark from a Port in Spain). Last year more than 7.5 million cruise passengers visited Spain and the ports received more than 3.700 cruises.

Barcelona is the fourth port in the world in number of cruise passengers (The first three are in Florida) and in 2014, Barcelona will be hosting Seatrade Med (September 16 through the 18th).
