For three years Trafficmaster has been the sole approved provider of stolen vehicle tracking to the BMW UK accessory programme. This has involved development of a strong working partnership between Trafficmaster and BMW UK where ongoing sales and marketing activity implemented through the BMW dealer network, together with close liaison on technical testing and approval has ensured the smooth running of the BMW Trackstar programme. The BMW Trackstar programme has been fully supported across the dealer network, highlighting the easy to use processes and the sale of stolen vehicle tracking for customers and dealers as an efficient experience from sale through to installation. John Lawrence, Director of Trackstar says “we are proud to be a partner of BMW UK and we are delighted that the BMW Trackstar programme has been such a continued success during the initial three year contract period, resulting in BMW UK taking the decision to extend our contract for a further two years.” John goes on to say “the fact that one of the leading brands in the UK automotive industry, with the most significant stolen vehicle tracking programme has chosen once again to partner with Trafficmaster shows that we are providing excellent levels of service that lead the market in the provision of stolen vehicle tracking to their customers”. Carl Sanderson – General Manager, Aftersales Development, BMW UK Limited, commented: “As the UK’s number one premium car company, it is vital that our customers are protected from theft of their vehicles with the best systems available in the market.
