Half-Term - 15th to 19th February 2010

Half-term this February is full of exciting things to see and do at The Trafford Centre. We've teamed up with the forth-coming LEGOLAND Discovery Centre to provide some fantastic entertainments. Mums and Dads can rest assured that our brilliant crèche facilities and Barney Bear Buggies will be available each day, and keep an eye out for special offers aimed at children in a variety of stores and restaurants. LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Live The Orient Main Stage Monday 15th – Thursday 18th February Show times: 12noon, 1.30pm and 3pm An exciting LEGO® adventure will be played out on the Orient Main Stage ahead of the opening of the new LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, opening in Barton Square on 22nd March. The exclusive live show will star a selection of characters from the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre. It’s guaranteed to thrill LEGO fans of all ages! The three daily shows will enable visitors to enter the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre world as it prepares for its grand opening. Children will meet Duncan the Stock Control Officer, and his assistant Ollie the Dragon as they make the final arrangements before the Centre opens for the first time. The stage show follows the events of the day as things inevitably go wrong and the audience will be asked to help save the day! The show will introduce many of the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre characters including a princess, a fireman and Blue Brick – a LEGO brick of course! There will be loads of opportunities for the audience to get involved with a chance to win Golden Tickets to be among the first to see the Centre for themselves. LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre The Bandstand Monday 15th – Thursday 18th February 11am - 4pm Come along to The Bandstand where you will have the chance to take part in a fantastic LEGO building challenge. Children of all ages are welcome to take part and the best models will win prizes. LEGO and DUPLO bricks are available to ensure the building needs of all ages are met!
