Harvey Nichols has announced that it will be opening a seasonal Christmas Foodmarket and Wine shop in The Trafford Centre in the run-up to the festive season.

The 2000 square foot store will be open from early November and is the first of its kind in Manchester. Gordon McKinnon, Director of Operations at The Trafford Centre, said: “We are delighted to be able to welcome this unique Harvey Nichols gift shop to The Trafford Centre. We’re sure our shoppers will be as excited by this news as we are. “The Harvey Nichols store will be situated immediately adjacent to stores such as Marks & Spencer, John Lewis, Armani Exchange, DKNY, Calvin Klein and Vivienne Westwood, and will undoubtedly add to the appeal of The Trafford Centre as the best Christmas shopping destination in the region.” Iain MacKenzie, General Manager of Harvey Nichols said: “We are sure that many of The Trafford Centre shoppers will be very eager to enjoy the Harvey Nichols experience. “Our extensive range of food, wine and hampers proves very popular for those people keen on a traditional, but stylish Christmas. The Trafford Centre has a reputation for providing just that – and we’re very excited about this synergy between our two brands.” The store will open for trade from early November, stocking a full range of Harvey Nichols own-label food products including Harvey Nichols’ popular Hamper selection, wine and gift sets. It is estimated that at least 7 new temporary jobs will be created at the store. For more details, contact The Trafford Centre press office.
